p>Tubecon is an international community-driven YouTube event that brings together YouTube creators and their viewers in large-scale public events. The first Tubecon was held in August 2014 at Hartwall Arena, Helsinki with more than 5,000 people attending. 1 Tubecon has been held 25 times in four countries (Finland Sweden Spain Switzerland and Switzerland) and attracted over 120,000 people to the events. p>Tubecon has seen an impressive rise in its popularity over time and so has the YouTube and the online influencer community. The biggest Tubecon events attracted more than 18,000 people and featured more than 200 YouTubers? and online influencers.

p>Tubecon program is created in collaboration with local online influencers and includes a variety of program elements such as Meet & Greets, Tubecon Video Awards panels and concerts. Tubecon 2018 will be held in Finland, Sweden and Germany and letters of intent were signed in Romania, Latvia, and Austria. [3]

p>Tubecon 2015 was held in Hartwall Arena, August 2015[5] and attracted more than 10,000 people.

p>The Finnish Tubecon took place between 12 and 13 August 2016, with the second day of the event being sold out. The event had all together 18,500 attendees. [6]

p>Sweden[edit]

p>Tubecon in Sweden began on the 6th of January in Stockholm with more than 4500 attendees. They also conducted an autumn tour that began on September 9 in Vasteras and concluded on the 10th December in Kungsbacka. Around 50 YouTube creators toured eight cities in total. More than 15,000 people attended Tubecon events in Sweden in 2016.

p>The Tubecon was held in Germany at the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen on February 20 the 20th of February, 2016. Tickets for VIP and Aftershow tickets were also available.

p>The Finnish event was held in Hartwall Arena between 12-13 August and attracted around 17,500 people. [8]

p>The first ever Tubecon Spain event took place in Madrid's wiZink Centre on the 18th of February. The event was attended by about 4,000 people who attended and more than 200 Spanish creators attending. [9]

p>Tubecon Switzerland was organized for the first time in Zurich's Hallenstation on the 29th of December. The event was attended by 2,500 attendees. [11]

p>The Finnish Tubecon took place for the first time in Messukeskus Helsinki on 17-18 August. The theme of the event was "My Story". Around 200 Finnish YouTubers? took part in the event. Tubecon hosted creators from around the world including the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Thailand, and Germany in the very first Tubecon World Meet. International creators were Bars and Melody, Jon Cozart who is also known as Paint, Softpomz and MrTrashPack?. The event also introduced a new TubeCity? concept, where different genres , like beauty, gaming and fashion, as well as food had their own blocks in the city-like event space. Tubecon launched Tube Academy, a new educational track, which was open to filmmakers and anyone interested in understanding more about video production and the industry. [12]
