p>Tubecon is an international community-driven YouTube event that brings together YouTube creators and viewers in large-scale public events. Tubecon was first held in August 2014 at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki. It was attended by over 5 000 people. [1] Since then Tubecon has been organized 25 times in 4 different countries (Finland, Sweden, Spain and Switzerland) with a total of 120,000 attendees at all events. [2]

p>Tubecon has seen an impressive increase in popularity over time, as has the YouTube and the online influencer community. Tubecon's biggest events attracted over 18,000 attendees and included more than 200 YouTubers? and online influencers.

p>Tubecon event program is developed in collaboration with local online influencers and it includes a variety of program elements like Meet & Greets, Tubecon Video Awards panels, and concerts. In 2018, Tubecon is being held in Finland, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland and letters of intent have been signed in Romania, Latvia and Austria. [3]

p>The story of Tubecon began when two Finnish creators decided to create a secure and enjoyable event for their guests. [4]

p>Tubecon 2015 was held at Hartwall Arena in August 2015[5With over 10,000 attendees.

p>The Finnish Tubecon was held between 12 and 13 August in 2016. The second day was sold out. The event had all together 18,500 visitors. [6]

p>Sweden[edit]

p>Tubecon in Sweden began on January 6, 2016 in Stockholm with more than 4,500 attendees. They also conducted an autumn tour, which began on September 9 in Vasteras and ended on the 10th of December in Kungsbacka. Around 50 YouTube creators toured 8 cities in total. In 2016 more than 15,000 people attended Tubecon Sweden events.

p>The Tubecon was held in Germany at the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen on February 20, 2016. Tickets for VIP and Aftershow tickets were also available.

p>The Finnish event took place in Hartwall Arena between 12-13 August and attracted around 17,500 people. [8]

p>The first ever Tubecon Spain event took place at Madrid's wiZink Centre on the 18th of February. The event was attended by more than 4,000 people and more than 200 Spanish creators. [9]

p>Tubecon Switzerland was first organized in Zurich's Hallenstation on the 29th of December. [10] Around 2,500 visitors were in attendance at the event. [11]

p>The Finnish Tubecon was held in Messukeskus Helsinki between 17-18 August for the first time. The theme for the event was "My Story". Around 200 Finnish YouTubers? attended the event. Tubecon hosted creators from around the world including the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Thailand, and Germany in the first Tubecon World Meet. https://30tt.com/ International creators included Bars and Melody, Jon Cozart who is also known as Paint, Softpomz and MrTrashPack?. A brand new TubeCity? concept was revealed at the event. This allowed different genres, including fashion, beauty, gaming and food, to have their own distinct blocks within the city-like event space. As a new initiative, Tubecon also launched Tube Academy, an educational track inviting creators and anyone wanting to learn more about video production and the business. [12]
