/p>

p>RackNine? provided computer records that showed Pierre Jones, a person who went by Pierre Jones, paid for the robocalls with a PayPal account.

/p>

p>From there, Mathews was able to track Poutine or Jones' Internet Protocol, or IP address as it is known, to Free Proxy Server. The website acts as a proxy or intermediary to conceal an individual's IP address.

/p>

p>Mathews was then moved to Conquest, Sask. where Norris oversees the website from his home.

/p>

p>Mathews obtained a court order for Free Proxy Server's computer data but it was a dead end. Norris no longer had records that could identify Poutine.

p>The trail hasn't been completely cold. Elections Canada believes that whoever is behind the Poutine persona has used the same IP address as a worker from the campaign office of Guelph Conservative candidate Marty Burke.

/p>

p>Court documents last week show that Burke campaign worker Andrew Prescott accessed RackNine?'s account via Rogers IP address 99.225.28.34.34 in Guelph. At the same time, a person using the same IP address logged into Poutine's RackNine? account.

/p>

p>Article content. The court documents don't state that Prescott registered on RackNine? as Jones or Poutine. Mathews claims that he was supposed to talk to Prescott on March 8, but Prescott∏s lawyer had cancelled the interview the day before.

/p>

p>Prescott has refused to make a statement. https://contestalert.in/members/archspain8/activity/13640/ He referred The Canadian Press to his lawyer, who has not returned a call.

p>Mathews was accompanied by an Tory lawyer. Two Tory campaign staffers told Mathews that they had overheard an Burke staffer, Michael Sona, talking about American politics and threatening supporters who were not.

/p>

p>Sona quit his job as Conservative MP Eve Adams' secretary after his name was made public in relation to the phone calls.

/p>

p>There is no evidence that suggests Sona was involved, and he claims that he did not have anything to do with voter suppression when he was working on the local campaign.
