p>The teen, who started his company in January claims it has already reached 100,000 customers.

p>Unlike other streaming services, it allows users to influence and interact with a game being streamed by another player.

p>Beam lets players suggest streamers challenges and even modify in-game elements such as weapons loadouts or quest selections.

p>Today, the Xbox maker announced plans to purchase live streaming service Beam, a Seattle-based startup created by Matt Salsamendi (18 years old).

p>It also allows developers to create special button layouts for viewers to interact with games streamed on Beam.

p>"We at Xbox are excited by this convergence of playing and watching and we want our players to have the freedom and choice of amazing multiplayer experiences across all Beam's platforms." Chad Gibson, a program manager for partner groups in Microsoft's Xbox Live division, said in an announcement.

p>This acquisition will allow gamers to enjoy the games they love, with the people they wantto play with, and on the devices they desire.'

p>No terms of the deal was disclosed.

p>He also explained how the system may be integrated with Minecraft.

p>Salsamendi says Beam will continue operating even as he and his coworkers are integrated into the Xbox engineering group.

p>In an article on Beam's website, Salsamendi says the service has grown to about 100,000 users after launching in January of this year.

p>The Xbox One S will be available in a color called "robotwhite".

p>It will come with an internal power source unlike other Xbox models that came with external power packs.

p>However, the Xbox One S will also be 40% smaller than the previous model.

p>Microsoft said the console will support 4K Ultra HD video and will be equipped with up to 2TB of internal hard disk space.

p>The new model will also include a wireless controller with extended range and High Dynamic Range (HDR).
