p>For over a decade, Bank of America has partnered with Special Olympics Massachusetts (SOMA) to help them achieve their goal of promoting acceptance and inclusion of all people across the Commonwealth. Bank of America's commitment goes beyond competitions in sports and is focused on the issues of acceptance as well as inclusion and respect for the disabled community.

p>Bank of America has partnered with SOMA on two annual events: the School Day Games and Summer Games. The spring games are held in the city of Boston. School Day Games offer sporting activities to more than 350 students in Boston and Brockton and over 400 students in Attleboro and Mashpee. At School Day Games events, students participate in the traditional Opening Ceremony, compete in at least three activities and receive an award for their efforts in a closing ceremony.

p>In June, the games are held at Harvard University, the Summer Games are the conclusion of SOMA sports events that are held throughout the spring. Bank of America continues to serve as lead sponsor of one of the Summer Games' largest sports aquatics, which saw over 700 athletes competing.
