p>The <b>Minecraft Forum</b> is a community-driven forum for <i>Minecraft</i>. It was created by a community member, citricsquid, on June 16 in 2009. The forum is still operated by the community. Mojang Studios has no involvement in the day-to day operations, though some Mojang Studios employees have accounts.

p>Redstone Wire Ltd. was established in September 2010[1] to manage this site. On November 15 the 15th of November, 2010 Curse purchased the site[2][3[3. Curse owned and operated the site until it became part of MagicFind? in June 2019. Curse developed the forum software Cobalt in-house.

p>The forum is a central hub for the <i>Minecraft</i> community, with game modifications, custom maps servers, resource packs, and servers all being shared. Registration to the site is free, and anyone without an <i>Minecraft</i> account is allowed to use the site. Forum administration is handled by PuyoDead? and citricsquid. https://mpservers.net/ The moderating team is comprised of more than 100[4] volunteers.

p>The site front page includes videos, news interviews, contests, and articles, relating to <i>Minecraft</i>, Mojang Studios and the <i>Minecraft</i> community in general. Sacheverell is the primary news editor, with videos from the MCSpotlights YouTube Channel as well as the Curse YouTube Channel.

p>On May 20 2019, citricsquid announced that the forums would be only accessible on June 16, 2019. On June 12 2019, the archival service was taken off and the site's ownership was transferred to a different company. [6]
