Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on 7 December th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household that was a faith-based one, and was surrounded by loving and devoted parents. He is the son of the elder of elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of Oyakhilome's Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace in her son from the beginning.
The whole family is actively involved with the LoveWorld? ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the most revered pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren? serves as the director of the LoveWorld? Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) in which several gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education at Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and go into ministry.

When he was still in university, the Man of God created what would become one of the biggest churches in the world. He started an unassuming prayer group dubbed "Youth for Christ" which would become the most well-known group of its kind on campus. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a passionate philanthropist , founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Inter (COFI) as an independent, non-profit charity that is aiming to aid communities that are most vulnerable and those living in the most deprived parts of the world.
In addition to preaching the Gospel, the Man of God has established NGOs with goals of providing essential assistance and hope to in need, the poor and lost souls. COFI has five partners who are all dedicated to raising the standard of living in the areas that are the least developed.

Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIFthe Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and Bible For All Mission are all part of the COFI umbrella.
