p>Ten thousand Minecraft fans were in London on Saturday and Sunday to attend a convention celebrating the popular video game.

p>Microsoft, the company that owns Minecraft and Minecraft, offered a handful of players a "golden ticket" to try its latest Augmented Reality device Hololens.

p>The company is currently developing a version of Minecraft that will run on the system. It allows gamers to project their creations on any flat surface in 3D.

p>Callum Ward, who tested the device on Saturday, stated that it was more difficult than a console.

p>Toby his brother acknowledged that it was a challenge to get used to but he was awed by the "cool" aspects of the game, including the ability of other players to be struck by lightning strikes.

p>Minecon 2015 set a new record for the highest number of tickets sold at an event that is focused on one game.
