p>Welcome to the Runes of Magic column at Massively. The Varanas Council ordered that I bring you news from Taborea every Monday. If I fail to do so, I will be ordered to participate in endless, repeatable quests in the Ystra Highlands. This is fine if I weren't an official member of the Society for the Preservation of the Ystra Ferret. You can see how I can't let that happen. You dear readers, will benefit from my being on time and bringing you lots of interesting and useful information. I also save a few fuzzy ferrets.

/p>

p>With that, Let's dive into our first blog post with a selection of sites and resources to get the potential Taborean traveler to begin leveling up and exploring.

/p>

p>Runes of Magic's official site - The official site is the official site. It actually pays to keep up with the announcements about news, contests, technical issues, and various Item Mall specials they may have on the go.

/p>

p>Official Forums - This section covers most of the requirements for forums that are commonly used. They do a really good job of posting patch notes, and it is for that reason alone that you should be visiting. If there's any change in how something operates within the game, it will be in there.

/p>

p>Facebook The Facebook page RoM also has several Facebook accounts to cater for different language servers, just like Twitter. I keep the accounts for the US and International. Both are in English, and it's a simple way to connect with a larger number of players, especially when you have players on US and International servers.

/p>

p>YouTube - Unlike Twitter and Facebook it is only necessary to bookmark one YouTube account. It's primarily a repository for all English and German videos in both languages that are already accessible on the respective official sites. It's a little easier to find and watch the videos.

/p>

p>Runes of magic Wiki - Here is your great base of operations for everything how-to. A great place for beginners can learn the basics of game mechanics, up to more advanced charts where players can theory craft all the different rune combinations.

/p>

p>Getbuffed.com/runesdb.com - Some prefer one over the other, but they are both great resources for items, NPCs, weapons, armor, you get the picture. It's very much similar to Wowhead. Both are fantastic tools to extract character information to share offline profiles.

/p>

p>Curse.com RoM uses Lua scripting to allow further personalization of the user interface. Add-ons can be utilized to enhance game functionality. You can include damage meters, increase mailbox functions, and a host of other features. There are more than 300 add-ons that can enhance your gaming experience. If you're interested in programming, you can create your own addon and share it with the community.

/p>

p>Twitter Official US Twitter account for RoM. I've also found GM Eres account hidden in a box hidden in a sea of snow. Be aware that there are distinct accounts for each location. You can find additional official accounts for the game by visiting the US one or going to the main page to find your server's location. https://site-9365085-3174-9534.mystrikingly.com/blog/is-there-a-cost-free-runescape-classic-account </p>

p>That about wraps it up. It's not all that's available accessible but it's the majority of the major resources and covers just about everything you'd ever need to know. If you do have a tip or three, you can drop me a line at jeremy[AT]massively[DOT]com
