p>

p>Dear MusicalWolfe? Subscribers,

/p>

p>As you all know I haven't uploaded any videos since 2012. I'm not dead. I'm not a zombie. I'd like to express my regrets for my lack of communication about my sudden and long-running absence from YouTube and also give everyone an idea of what to expect from my channel in the future.

/p>

p>

Why you stopped making videos?
The short answer is that college was not my top priority. I graduated in December! ) as well as work (in the US, college doesn't pay for its own expenses) and constructing my portfolio in other ways. At 21 years old, I'm continuing to slip into the tight grip of adulthood, and if any of you aren't yet there, you're likely to be slapped mercilessly on the forehead with the responsibility of responsibilities and deciding what you want To Do With Your Life.

p>

p>Another reason why I chose to stop making videos was that Minecraft doesn't hold quite the same appeal to me as it did previously. It's an excellent game that has a lot of replayability however it's only got numerous things to do. I persevered with it even though I was getting tired, because I didn't want you to be disappointed. But the truth was that I had explored every option I was interested in by the time I was done.

/p>

p>The final reason I stopped making videos was because it became less of a hobby and more of a job/responsibility. I was able to stay at bay and confine the videos to the ones that my viewers were expecting. I was not comfortable releasing less than 1:1 ratio Note Block Songs to other videos at the end of my first sprint because I didn∏t know how people would react to my cessation. That is why I am going to the next point:

/p>

p>

Why didn't you tell us sooner?
Flat answer is that I wasn't sure what you would think of me. YouTube users are a diverse bunch, so I'm certain some of the responses could include "That's okay, I like your Note Block Songs but if they're getting repetitive, you should stop." or "PLEASE not stop creating Note Block Songs. They are awesome and if they was to stop, it would leave us very sad. unsubbed".

p>

p>Since 2011/2012, I have gained a lot of weight and feel more robust. If you have anything to add, positive or otherwise, I'll be happy to discuss it in the comments section at the bottom. Please be civil. I'm not sure what to expect.

/p>

p>

So What Happens Now?
I'm going to bring this channel back to its origins. I'm planning to upload music to the MusicalWolfe? channel on no predetermined schedule, showing off the types of videos that I enjoy creating instead of videos engineered to get the most views and likes (I was actually doing napkin calculations toward the end of 2012). I am effectively returning this channel to where it started, back before the stage light of Machinima, before it ever became a commercial thing. I will be answering an audience similar to my original audience which was my first few hundred subscribers before I started doing Minecraft songs. https://kd76.com/ People who enjoy my music whether or not it was written in Minecraft.

p>

p>The easiest way to sum it up is that I'm giving my channel a new overall goal. My original goal was to increase views and subscribers to save money for college, and appeal to my subscribers. Now, my goal is to share projects that I would have done in any other way. I don't see myself putting much effort in creating content for MusicalWolfe? however, I would love to continue sharing new music and other gaming/music weirdnesses in my life.

/p>

p>This means that there will be two major changes to the MusicalWolfe? YouTube Channel:

/p>

p>

Change 1 Type of Content
From 2012 on, my YouTube channel has been focusing on two main topics:

p>

p>- Minecraft Note Block Songs - Electronic Music and Orchestrated Mixes

/p>

p>At the moment, I'm not planning to create more note block songs. I do intend to create music, with the following cautionary note:

/p>

p>

Change 2 Content Frequency
Since my YouTube uploads will now depend only on my music output, and my music output depends on my other responsibilities/priorities in life (school, work, etc. ) This means that there won't be any set upload timeframe. Unlike before, I only upload a handful of videos each month. Now, I only upload when I have new content. If I go months or even years without creating music, that's months or years without uploads. I'm sorry that I have to do this, but I've decided that from now on I am going to fit YouTube around my schedule instead of having to organize my life around YouTube as I did in 2011-2012.

p>

p>

Contact
I'd like to stimulate discussion, and I would like to stress that I will always be available and easy to get ahold of! If you have any questions or comments, either post them below or email me at max@maxlaumeister.com. If my email address is changed in the future you can still contact me by searching my full name on Google (I have been blessed with a very unique one). Thank you for taking the time to read this, and hopefully you now have a better understanding of the new function (which was actually the original role) that my YouTube channel plays!

p>

p>Cheers, Maximillian Laumeister
