p>Amazon is today putting the finishing touches to its first phone which is expected to be launched in the next few hours by its boss Jeff Bezos.

p>The phone is expected to utilize retina-tracking technology, so that images displayed on the screen appear to "float" above' the screen, similar to a Hologram and appear three-dimensional from all angles.

p>It is believed that the phone will initially be offered in the US only by AT&T in an arrangement that is similar to the launch of the original iPhone.

p>Amazon's rumored holophone will be revealed on June 18. Amazon has released a teaser on Wednesday, which shows people's reaction to the device. Images of the handset were previously leaked online. The most recent images (pictured below) show a slim handset that looks very much like Apple's iPhone.

p>Seattle based T-Mobile's chief executive, John Legere, tweeted, "Really @Amazon? What did you do to be proud of your home town?

p>According to Business Week, more than 1,600 people have claimed Lab126 on the professional social networking site LinkedIn as their employer.

p>The latest images also show a tiny handset that appears like Apple's iPhone.

p>Multiple trusted sources have confirmed the authenticity of the image, that was designed to be used internally by graphic designers at Amazon BGR,' the website BGR said.

p>The handset seems to be influenced by the design of Apple's iPhone 5 and Google's Nexus handset.

p>As can be seen in this image released exclusively by BGR, Amazon's phone will have a design which is similar to full-touch phones currently on the market according to BGR.

p>The handset is believed to come with a 4.7-inch display with HD resolution of 720p and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, and six separate camera modules that help create 3D effects.
