p>Ten thousand Minecraft fans were in London on Saturday and Sunday for an event to celebrate the popular video game.

p>Microsoft, which is the owner of Minecraft and Minecraft, offered a handful of players a "golden ticket" to test its new augmented reality device Hololens.

p>The company is working on a version of Minecraft that runs on the system. It lets gamers project their designs onto any flat surface in 3D.

p>Callum Ward, who tried the device on Saturday, told BBC News it was "more difficult" to use than a console.

p>Toby, his brother, agreed that it was difficult to adjust to, but he was awed by the "cool" aspects of the game, such as the possibility for other players to be struck by lightning strikes.

p>Minecon 2015 set a record for the largest number of tickets sold at an event that is focused on a single game.

p>There were also YouTube video stars Robert and Vik, better known as MrWoofless? and Vikkstar123HD.
