p>My boy turned 9 yesterday! NINE!! !

/p>

p>A Minecraft Party was requested. The easiest way to create one of those is to search for other people's ideas! So I went here and made this board. Sunny By Design had many great things. Here's my tribute to Minecraft Party..

/p>

p>Creeper juice. These little Chubby drinks. Paper torn off and faces put on.

/p>

p>Torches= twisted pretzel sticks. I could have done a red dip on the ends melted chocolate, but time ran away from me. The slime balls were meant to be green jello squares. But they were hidden in my fridge. The zombie boogies were actually wasabi peas!

/p>

p>Sorry for the blurry image. I began making tiny TNT bundles but decided to not do it, and put them in glass instead. My favorite part of the party was when I said "There are plenty of fruits and vegetables left!" If you don't consume them today I'm putting them into your bags for loot!" Things were being eaten when there was a loud woosh at the table. :

/p>

p>The cake was a brownie rather than a cake. I wanted to leave the edges un-iced and I figured that the brownie would be less spongy. The icing was Fluffy Boiled Frosting. It wasn't sweet at all. We had way too much of this cake, so I made meringue puffs and put them in the oven. Those were also left at home.

/p>

p>Here's a new thing I learned, to make meringue you beat your egg whites, heat your oven to 350 degrees, then put them in, turn off the oven, and then wait until the oven cools down. Easy peasy.

/p>

p>The signs and grass leaves came from a Sizzix dies. The large, honkin' thick ones. You can do it in the cuttlebug using a B plate on the bottom and top of the die. Do not use the A plate to begin with. We hired the local arena to let off some party energy.

/p>

p>We go to the general skating at least once per week. This boy has made a huge leap in the last few weeks. He even looks like a skater now!

/p>

p>Dad and his son.

/p>

p>Everyone can sing ...... Happy Birthday to you!

/p>

p>Loot bag time!

/p>

p>And the loot inside. I don't like giving loot bags that contain a lot of small things. So I gave hand made creeper cookies, which took two days and a trip to the local bakery to freeze (Thanks Flying Fox), an album of Minecraft Parodies. I discovered the title on YouTube and gave it to my husband for him to use to create his magic. Then, I gave him some snacks.

/p>

p>It's over with the birthday party! (paper characters)

/p>

p>It was a blast!

/p>

p>Edited May 8: Wow, you are probably on a frenzy for minecraft party ideas. What we would not do for our kids. https://isrse37.org/ At this time, I've had close to 10,000 hits on this post. That's a lot of hits in my world. People have been pining my creepy juice bottles with a fervor. Awesome. Check out my sidebar. There are only 13 followers. This makes me feel a bit lonely. Are you interested in joining the party on my blog? Follow me on Twitter or bookmark my blog to discover what else I've been doing. I've also made ninja peggies! These can be used for the next party.
