p>Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has passed away following an prolonged battle with stage four cancer, his family announced today in a statement and video.

p>Techno previously revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer in August and had been sporadically updating his followers on his situation while continuing to receive treatment and create content on YouTube.

p>In the video, released on June 30th, Techno's father read an end-of-life message titled "so long nerds" written for such an occasion. The video was filled to the fullest with the creator's trademark dry and often dark humor, but also acts as a final "thank you' to everyone who has supported the Minecraft star throughout the years.

p>"Thank you for your support of my content over the years. If I had another 100 lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade over and over again. As those were the happiest years of my life." Techno said.
