p>The Minecraft Forum is a forum run by the community for Minecraft. It was established on June 16 2009 by a member of the community citricsquid. The forum continues to be run by the community with Mojang Studios having no involvement in day-to day operations (although some Mojang Studios employees have accounts on the site).

p>In September 2010, Redstone Wire Ltd. was formed[1] to manage the site, and on November 15 2010 the site was purchased by Curse. https://minecraft-servers.fun/ Curse owned and operated the site until it was acquired by MagicFind? in June 2019. Curse developed the forum software Cobalt in-house.

p>The forum serves as an information central hub for the Minecraft community, with game modifications and servers, custom maps, and resource packs that are all shared. Registration on the site is free and anyone who has or without an Minecraft account is able to access the site. Forum administration is managed by PuyoDead? and citricsquid. The forum moderation team is made up over 100 volunteers.

p>The homepage of the site includes news videos interviews, contests, and articles, relating to Minecraft, Mojang Studios and the Minecraft community in general. The front-page news is managed by Sacheverell with videos from the MCSpotlights YouTube Channel and the Curse YouTube channel.
