p>The Minecraft Forum is an open, community-driven forum for Minecraft. https://cattlevelvet80.bloggersdelight.dk/2022/10/27/minecraft-gets-twitch-y-with-new-partnership-for-integrated-streaming/ It was established on June 16, 2009 by community member citricsquid. The forum continues to be managed by the community with Mojang Studios having no involvement in day-to-day operations (although some Mojang Studios employees have accounts on the forum).

p>Redstone Wire Ltd. was formed in September 2010[1] to manage this site. On November 15 the 15th of November, 2010 Curse bought the site[2][3]. Curse owned and operated the site until it was incorporated into the MagicFind? group of MagicFind? in June 2019. Curse developed the forum software Cobalt in-house.

p>The forum serves as a central hub for the Minecraft community, with game modifications and servers, custom maps and resource packs all being shared. Registration on the site is free and anyone with or without an Minecraft account is able to use the site. Forum administration is overseen by citricsquid and PuyoDead? as well as the forum moderation team is made up of over 100[4 volunteers.

p>The homepage of the site includes news videos interviews, contests, and articles, relating to Minecraft, Mojang Studios and the Minecraft community in general. Sacheverell is the primary news editor, with videos from the MCSpotlights YouTube Channel as well as the Curse YouTube Channel.
