p>YouTuber? and Minecraft streamer Technoblade has passed away at 23 years old after a long battle with cancer of stage 4.

p>The creator of content, who hails from San Francisco, who kept his identity closely guarded and only revealed his name in his final video as "Alex," exploded to fame after posting videos of himself playing Minecraft on YouTube back in 2013 - eventually going on to amass more than 10 million subscribers.

p>He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last August and had spent most of the year away from the spotlight while undergoing chemotherapy.

/p>

p>Although it is not clear which type of cancer Alex had at the time, he continued to raise funds for sarcoma-related charities and announced in December that he'd had surgery to remove an arm tumor.

p>The father of the deceased who is not publicly known, shared the sad announcement of his son's death with his many followers in a video posted today on Technoblade's YouTube channel. https://bonfire.im/ The video was titled "So long nerds" and included a posthumous message of goodbye from the YouTube star.

p>Calling his son 'the most amazing kid' he then shared an audio of his son, who said"If I could have another hundred lives, I think I'd choose to be Technoblade each time as those were the happiest years of my life.'

p>He shared the shocking news about his cancer diagnosis in August in a video called "Where I've been", which has been watched more than 13 million times.

p>In the video, he revealed to viewers that he was diagnosed with cancer after he thought there was an injury to his arm and revealing: 'In the final days of July, my right arm started to hurt quite a lot.'
