p>Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has passed away following an prolonged battle with stage four cancer, his family announced today in a public statement and video.

p>Techno previously revealed that he'd been diagnosed with cancer in August. He had been updating his followers on his condition as he continued to receive treatment and create content on YouTube.

p>In the video, which was posted on June 30, Techno's father spoke an end-of-life message entitled "so long nerds," specially written for the occasion. It was filled to the fullest with the creator's trademark dark and sometimes humorous humor, and also serves as a thank to all who has supported the Minecraft star over the years.

p>"Thank you all for all your support for my content throughout the years. If I had another 100 lives, I think I would prefer to be Technoblade over and over again. Because those were the most happy years of my life," Techno said.

p>In his message Techno who reveals his name is actually Alex discusses how the proceeds from merch and other "sell-out" pushes over the past year is being used to send his siblings to college, if they want to go. He concludes by thanking his viewers for allowing him to enjoy such joyful moments. All while slideshows of images that depict him throughout various stages of his treatment are shown on screen.

p>In the wake of Techno's final message his father recounts how he had originally had plans to write and record the video prior to his death however, his declining health and other issues prevented the process from taking place. According to his father who wrote the message, he did so from bed and passed away within eight hours of his death.

p>"He was the most amazing child you could ever want," Technoblade's father said. "I really miss Technoblade. Thank you to everyone for everything.
