p>Gamescom 2022 will see new information for Minecraft Legends and Sega's Sonic Frontiers and could reveal more information about Modern Warfare 2 and Bethesda's Space RPG that is coming out Starfield. You can watch the opening night stream hosted by Geoff Keighley from your computer although it's not the first Gamescom live stream since 2019. Here's how you can stream Gamescom 2022.

p>Gamescom 2022 starts on August 23. If you're in the UK the event starts at 7PM, with viewers who live on the US East Coast able to tune in at 2PM, while those who are on PT will begin at 11AM.

p>The biggest confirmed news to date is the unveiling of further details and hopefully extra gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers, but host Geoff Keighley has also confirmed that the Gamescom opening show will include "30plus games" which means that it's likely there will be more games in 2022's biggest releases will be teased too.

p>Call of Duty: Vanguard was released with a brand new gameplay trailer during last year's event. Modern Warfare 2 seems to be a promising option this year's event. There's also the possibility of FIFA 23, God of War: Ragnarok and the new survival horror The Callisto Protocol. Our top three most wanted-for items are Dead Space, Resident Evil 4's remake and Starfield. But for now, we can only speculate and think about it.

p>The opening event will be streamed live on the official Game Awards YouTube and Twitch channels. It's worth tuning for a half-hour prior to the event, as past events have included announcements as well as gameplay footage. Tickets are still available from the official website if you are planning to travel to Cologne, Germany. Xbox will also be streaming its own stream during Gamescom, where it's expected to show off Minecraft Legends and A Plague Tale: Requiem.
