p>Organisers of a convention for Minecraft, a computer game Minecraft said they are "truly sorry" after angry parents criticized the game on social media.

p>However, a lot of people claimed to have spent hours waiting to meet famous players and demanded refunds.

p>O'Brien Event Management said a new system to cut down on queues will be implemented in the future.

p>The event which was not accepted by Mojang, Minecraft-developer, offered fans the opportunity to meet YouTube stars take pictures, and play games.

p>Lisa O'Brien of O'Brien Event Management previously told the BBC that the line was 45 minutes long due to the large number of people who showed up on the day and did not purchase tickets in advance.

p>The company also released an announcement on its website, saying: "We are truly sorry that our event didn't meet the expectations of a few people."

/p>

p>"MineVention?" is a "meet-and-greet" event, and there will be lines. However it will offer children the chance to meet their heroes.

p>"We have considered all your comments about this event into consideration. Going forward, we will be putting in place a queueing system and more content."

/p>

p>Peterborough Arena, responsible for catering, also released a statement blaming the long lines and "sheer" number of people who entered the venue the day.

p>Refunds haven't been discussed, however, parents have claimed they were offered them the next day after contacting staff.

p>Online ticketing company YPlan announced that it was "actively looking for information on the event partner to better understand its position regarding refunds and will seek compensation for all customers who were dissatisfied with this event."
