p>In just under a decade, Technoblade amassed nearly 11 million YouTube subscribers and 3.7 million Twitter followers, as he shared his love for Minecraft, a video game where users can build virtual worlds from blocks and develop their own storylines. He went public with his diagnosis of cancer back in August 2021. He told his followers in the video of him playing the game that he sought medical assistance after experiencing discomfort in his arm, which initially thought was a repetitive stress injury from gaming.

p>According to Technoblade's father, Technoblade wrote his final words around eight hours before his death. He was crying, but Technoblade's father described his son as "the most incredible child" anyone could ever ask for, adding: "I miss Technoblade."

My son's determination in this situation was a shining example for all of us who had the opportunity to walk it with him. We are grateful that you were able to share his journey with us, as he completed the work that he loved for his beloved fans.

p>Sarcoma Foundation of America sent an official statement to CNN, paying tribute to Technoblade and offering its condolences to his family.

p>Brandi Felser, CEO of the charity, said in the statement: "Technoblade rallied his supporters to raise more than $500,000 up until now to fund sarcoma research. This allowed SFA to award Technoblade research grants. Through his efforts, he has left a legacy that will impact generations to come."

p>Felser stated that Technoblade will be honored with the organization's Courage Award, which is an annual award to those who inspire others to "create hope and a better lifestyle for the sarcoma patient population" later in the year.
