p>Gamescom 2022 will see new information for Minecraft Legends and Sega's Sonic Frontiers and could reveal more information about Modern Warfare 2 and Bethesda's upcoming space RPG Starfield. This is the first live Gamescom since 2019, but you can still stream the opening night stream hosted by Geoff Keighley, from the comfort of your own computer. Here's how to watch Gamescom 2022.

p>Gamescom 2022 starts on August 23, and if you're in the UK, it begins at 7pm, with viewers from the US East Coast able to watch at 2PM, and those on PT can start at 11AM.

p>The most important confirmed news to date is the unveiling of more details and possibly more gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers, but host Geoff Keighley has also confirmed that the Gamescom opening show will include "30+ games" which means that it's likely there will be more games in 2022 and 2023's biggest releases will be teased too. https://minecraftservers.host/ </p>

p>Call of Duty: Vanguard got an extra gameplay trailer at the last event which is why Modern Warfare 2 seems like an excellent choice for this year. Our personal most-wanted list includes Dead Space The remake of Resident Evil 4, and obviously Starfield however, at the moment all we can do is speculate and pray.

p>The opening ceremony will be streamed live on the official Game Awards YouTube and Twitch channels. It's possible to tune at least a half hour prior to the event, since previous events have included announcements and gameplay footage. And of course, if you're thinking of going to Cologne, Germany, and watching Gamescom in person, you'll be able to buy tickets on the official website of the event. Xbox will have its own stream during Gamescom where it's scheduled to stream Minecraft Legends and A Plague Tale : Requiem. You can watch it on any Xbox social network which includes YouTube.
