p>Microsoft, the company that owns Minecraft and Minecraft, offered a small group of players a "golden ticket" to try its latest AR device Hololens.

p>The company is currently developing a version of Minecraft that runs on the system. It lets gamers project their creations on any flat surface in 3D.

p>Callum Ward, who tested the device on Saturday, stated that it was more difficult than a console.

p>Toby, his brother, acknowledged that it was a challenge to get used to but he praised the "cool" features of the game, such as the ability for other players to be zapped by lightning strikes.

p>Minecon 2015 set a new record for the largest number of tickets sold at an event that is focused on a single sport.

p>The crowd included YouTube video stars Robert and Vik, better known as MrWoofless? and Vikkstar123HD.
