p>Gamescom 2022 will unveil new information for Minecraft Legends and Sega's Sonic Frontiers and will likely reveal more details about Modern Warfare 2 and Bethesda's upcoming space RPG Starfield. You can watch the opening night stream hosted by Geoff Keighley from your computer even though it's the first Gamescom live since 2019. Here's how you can watch Gamescom 2022.

p>Gamescom 2022 begins August 23rd. If you're in the UK it begins at 7pm. Viewers on the US East Coast can tune in at 2PM. PT viewers can start at 11 am.

p>The most important, confirmed information is the release of more details, and hopefully more gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers. But host Geoff Keighley also confirmed that the Gamescom Opening Show will feature "30+ Games", so it's possible that some of 2022's biggest games and 2023's will be teased.

p>Call of Duty: Vanguard was released with a brand new gameplay trailer at last years event. Modern Warfare 2 seems to be a good bet this year's release. p>The official Game Awards YouTube channel and Twitch channel will stream the opening ceremony live. It's worth tuning in a half hour before the event, as past events have featured announcements as well as gameplay footage. Tickets are still available on the official website if you are planning to travel to Cologne, Germany. Xbox will also be streaming its own stream at Gamescom and is expected to show Minecraft Legends and A Plague Tale: Requiem. You can stream it on any of the Xbox social channels which includes YouTube.
