p>YouTuber? for Minecraft Technoblade has died at the age of 23. His family has confirmed in an emotional farewell video that was uploaded on his behalf.

p>The video, titled "solong nerds" was shared to his 10 million followers. It included his father's words, which he described as "the most amazing child anyone could ever hope for".

p>The US internet celebrity gained fame by livestreaming and posting clips of his playing the videogame sandbox.

/p>

p>Technoblade announced to his fans last year that he was diagnosed with cancer.

/p>

p>The father of his son read his farewell message a few hours before his passing. It began with "Hello everyone, Technoblade here." If you're watching this. I am dead."

p>He later revealed that his real name was actually Alex and reminiscing about the time he tricked viewers into thinking his name was Dave.

/p>

p>"Thank you all for your support of my content throughout the years," he continued. "If I had another hundred years to live I'm pretty sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade over and over again because those were the most joyful years of my life."

p>The online star, who won Minecraft tournaments and had thousands of fans who reminisced about his life in a humorous way when playing the game, explained in a fundraising video released in February that he been through chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a limb salvage operation after he was diagnosed with a painful tumour in his right arm.

p>Sarcoma, a rare type of bone and soft tissue cancer was the cause of the death of his father.

/p>

p>He revealed his diagnosis of cancer in August 2021. He explained that he initially thought the pain he was feeling was from a repetitive stress injury caused by playing too much. He was diagnosed with cancer when his arm became swollen.

p>It is not known much about Technoblade who kept his true identity a secret until the end. However, his avatar on the internet was a picture of a crown pig.

p>His YouTube channel has 10.8 million subscribers. His bio says: "I play too many video games. I might not be the greatest but I do have hot elbows."

p>In the wake of news of his death the gamers, fans and YouTubers? paid tribute online.

p>"I'll never forget the day I met Technoblade," recalled J Schlatt. "I quit my job early to play with him in a Minecraft tournament. I was unsure of how to play... but the dude was able to guide us through the whole event.

p>"Rest in peace, big guy. You'll always be a legend.

/p>

p>YouTuber? Captain Puffy aka Cara tweeted: "Rest in peace Technoblade He was always treating me with love and respect and never denied me access to anything. He couldn't be more gracious!"

p>She said, "Thanks for everything you have done for this community. It will never be the same without you."

p>Tommy Innit stated that "Technoblade" is an icon. From being a huge fan, to becoming one of his actual friends, I don't know how grateful I am to have been in his life. I'm sure he's mulling in heaven on how to beat God ..."

p>Ludwig Ahgren added, "I've been watching Technoblade's for over an hour." "He was so funny and humble even in the most difficult of circumstances. I'll never forget him."

p>Quackity also expressed his gratitude on the internet, writing: "I had to have the opportunity to express how much respect I have for Technoblade, not only for his immense impact on the world, but also for his amazing humour, even in the darkest times." I will miss him so very deeply."

p>Jake Lucky, an eSports player, said "May rest and be at peace."

p>Technoblade's father thanked fans during the video of his farewell, noting: "You meant a lot to him."

p>He explained that a portion of the profits from online orders for his late son's merchandise will now be donated to charities.

p>The video ended with a letter from his family. It said: "We, Technoblade, wanted you all to know how the much he was loved and respected by his colleagues and his fans."

p>"From Technoblade's very first days on the internet, he was constantly thinking of ways to delight and reward his audience by giving away prizes online as well as encouraging good sportsmanship and, most importantly, sharing his Minecraft adventures for entertainment and laughs.

p>Recent modifications to the game have been utilized by children to explore and improve their professional skills, as well as to tackle real-world issues like flooding.

p>Ted Nevison described Technoblade as being "effortlessly funny" and "endlessly talented". He added, "Gone too quickly."
