p>In a move of absolute absurdity, Turkey wants to ban Minecraft because its Family and Social Policy Ministry's deemed it too violent for children. It's true that a game where you build fortresses, and then punch trees is being targeted for its content, because in Survival Mode, you have to defend yourself from zombie-like Mobs and sometimes that means killing them. According to the region's Hurriyet Daily News reports, the Ministry also states that some children might confuse Minecraft's pixelated pixels-filled landscapes with the real world, which could lead them to believe that torturing animals was fine. Sure; okay. Why did the company first take a look at Microsoft's $2.5billion purchase? To determine if the game encouraged violence against women. Its heart was right from the beginning.

p>Even if you've only a cursory knowledge of Minecraft the whole thing may sound too bizarre to be true. Unfortunately, that's not the case. https://f-email.org/ As VentureBeat? points out, Turkey would be the first country to ban the game in the event that the Ministry's petition is successful, but it hasn't a track record of banning games (you know, the actual violent ones). With the history of the government of blocking access to websites like Twitter and YouTube, however, it's unclear if it'll follow suit with Mojang's baby.
