p>Ten thousand Minecraft fans were in London on Saturday and Sunday for an event to celebrate the popular video game.

p>Microsoft, the company that owns Minecraft and Minecraft, offered a small group of gamers an "golden ticket" to try out its new Augmented Reality device Hololens.

p>The company is developing a version of Minecraft that will run on the system. It allows gamers to project their designs onto any flat surface in 3D.

p>Callum Ward, who tested the device on Saturday, said that it was more difficult than a console.

p>His brother Toby agreed it took some getting used to, but praised the "cool features" added to the game, including the ability to zap other players with lightning strikes.

p>Minecon 2015 set a new record for the highest number of tickets sold at an event that is focused on a single sport.
