<p>Anger at Microsoft's $2.5bn deal for Minecraft maker Mojang </p> <p>Fans of the video game Minecraft have expressed anger after the game's creator Mojang and Microsoft reached a $2.5bn (PS1.5bn) deal. </p> <p>The title which has sold more than 54 million copies, has been criticized on social media, after the announcement. </p> <p>Microsoft, Mojang and Minecraft were all trending on Monday afternoon. </p> <p>If you've never attempted it, players build structures using retro Lego-like blocks, then explore the vast map and fight against other players. </p> <p>"Microsoft is going to take our lives" said AstrosMC in a post on a Minecraft forum. </p> <p>Thomas Heath posted on Newsbeat's Facebook pagethat "Microsoft will simply screw everything up." If that happens I'm out. </p> <p>Mojang's founder, Markus "Notch" Persson has previously been critical of Microsoft. </p> <p>However, not all reactions to the sale were negative. </p> <p>Tom Bramwell, the editor-in-chief at eurogamer.net, tweeted "Clearly, I am not @notch. http://y8space.com/members-2/heightcougar49/activity/4614160/ But I can understand his tweet about not wanting to be defined by anything for the rest of your life.
