<p>Minecraft fans get Hololens preview </p> <p>This video cannot be played </p> <p>JavaScript is required to play this video. </p> <p>Minecraft fans get Hololens previewClose </p> <p>Ten thousand Minecraft fans gathered in London on Saturday and Sunday to attend an event to celebrate the popular video game. </p> <p>Microsoft, which owns Minecraft and Minecraft, offered a small group of gamers a "golden ticket" to test its new Augmented Reality device Hololens. </p> <p>The company is working on an improved version of Minecraft that will run on the system. It allows gamers to see their creations projected onto almost any flat surface 3D. </p> <p>Callum Ward, who tried the device on Saturday said to BBC News it was "more difficult" to use than a console. </p> <p>Toby, his brother, acknowledged that it was a challenge to get used to but he was awed by the "cool" aspects of the game, which include the possibility for other players to be struck by lightning strikes. </p> <p>Minecon 2015 broke a record in the world for the number of tickets sold at an event that was focused on only one game. </p> <p>Robert and Vik, YouTube video stars better known as MrWoofless or Vikkstar123HD were among the crowd. https://ianblog.com/ </p> <p>Vik stated to the BBC that Minecon was an unforgettable experience as YouTuber.
